Vernon J. Spaulding

President / Owner

My career started in industrial control and plant floor data collection while working in a variety of product R&D, market development, and product management roles for companies like Eaton Corporation and Rockwell Automation along with globally recognized firms like the McKenzie Group and the Boston Consulting Group. My system designs and deployments became more complicated over time and expanded to include a variety of other technologies / methodologies like SCADA, MES, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma. These system designs supported Food and Beverage, Automotive, Paper, and the Printing Industries.


After receiving my MBA, my projects evolved to include several front office software and processes like inventory management, production costing, orders management, production lot control, financials, forecasting, supply chain management, production scheduling, capital appropriation ROI analysis and strategic planning. Many of these applications often involved collecting plant floor data and transferring it to front office ERP software packages like SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, and others.


Over the past decade, my scope of supply has included entire production plant designs within the beverage industry with specific attention on the craft beer, ready to drink cocktails and distillery industries. These designs have included coordination with architects, civil – structural – seismic – electrical – mechanical and plumbing engineers. My current projects include financial, plant design and project management solutions. Very few consultants today can support this wide array of technologies and design solutions using proven business strategies in a structured manner.
